The house warming ceremony (Griha pravesham) is a traditional ceremony that is being practiced when moving into a new home. This function is being practiced across the whole world. The main function is9l boiling milk in a vessel and letting it spill overflow. The overflowing milk represents abundance of wealth, happiness and peace that will flow into their lives. The act of boiling is considered as a way of purifying the space inside the house. It is also considered that the process of boiling will help to remove all negative energies in the house. According to tradition, the family is supposed to stay overnight in that house.
