Not in a Mood

For the last one week ,I did not post any comment.
Why?
I do not know.
Perhaps, nothing to write or not in mood?
I do not know.
Life is like that.
We can't help.
Some thing is beyond our control.
Man proposes , God disposes.
Yesterday is dead;tomorrow is yet to come,
Let us enjoy today.
Be happy!

So many people are now opting for freelance work. There are certain advantages and disadvantages on freelancing. As far as the advantages are concerned- you are the boss and need not take instructions from anybody, you can work according to your own convenience at your own place, you can employ any body you want, you can charge any amount you want etc. But at the same time there are certain disadvantages also - there is no definite and fixed amount of revenue generation, you have to bid and get project, there is uncertainty of work etc.

Internet connection and a personal computer- these are the only resources required to do freelancing. No doubt one should have expertise in at least one domain - web design, writing, internet research, copy writing, logo design ......

Thought Control

It is your thoughts that control you.Your thoughts should be good and pure. Do not think of harming any body. You must have a helping nature. The help can be in any form - monetary, social, infrastructure or any thing like that.

But the big question is how to control the thoughts? It is through will power only that one can control thoughts. Reading sacred books, satsang and listening to lectures of saints can help in controlling the thoughts.

Thought has got tremendous power. It can heal diseases. Thoughts can transform the mentality of persons. Thought can do anything. It can work wonders.

It is a dynamic force. It is caused by the vibrations of psychic Prana or Sukshma Prana on the mental level. It is a force like gravitation, cohesion or repulsion. Thought travels at tremendous speed.

Nature's Fury

It was unexpected. Nature's fury. Many people died, many buildings collapsed, airports closed, power stations went out of order, many parts of the town plunged into darkness... like that so many problems. These all happened in Japan.

Technology no doubt has advanced much but still we are not in a position to forecast such havoc - tsunami, earthquake, floods etc. Nature has it its own way of inflicting pain on human kind. We have to live with all these.

Success through Will Power

For success in any field, one should have will power. The will power can be achieved by adopting a positive attitude towards life rather than giving in to despair. We have to remain calm, should not get angry under any circumstances and should speak politely with all persons.

But the basic question arises. What is will power?

It is the power to control one’s emotions. It is the motivation which energizes us to do what we want and to desist from not doing unwanted things. It is the force within us to get rid of all bad forces. It is well to remember at this juncture what the great saint Swami Vivekananda had to say: “Stand up, be bold and strong. Know that you are the creator of your own destiny. All the strength you need is with in you.”

Environment and Health

Health is an outcome of the interaction between people and the environment. Better environmental management is essential for sustaining the health of the people. While on one hand economic growth along with industrialization and urbanization have changed the life style of the people, overcrowding and increase in the different diseases have generated lot of problems.
