In good olden times, it is reported that pigeons were uses to carry messages across long distances. Later people used to communicate through letters. The letters are dropped in boxes provided by the postal department. The postman collects the letters, sorts them as per the address given and sends to the particular place. At the destination, again the letters are sorted and delivered to the addressee. In the address, the name of the person, house name/number, street/village name and city/town's name are indicated.
The procedure is the same whether it is the residential address or office address. Later, in offices, fax machines were installed and the communication became very fast. Telegrams ( morse code by Samuel Morse)were also in vogue. Verbal communication was being established through telephones( Alexander Graham Bell). As technology advanced, computers and internet came into being. Individuals were identified through their email addresses and mobile numbers. Further advancements in the hardware and software arenas, made individual websites as a profile and professional indicators.
