Yesterday I attended a seminar on stock broking organised jointly by Malayala Manorama and broking firm India Infoline at Calicut.
The speaker briefly outlined the present financial scenario and gave his recommendations on different scrips.Some of his recommendations were Reliance, Airtel,IDBI, SBI,PNB.
He was of the opinion it is meaningless to enter the stock market for short term period, but should plan for a longer time horizon to actually benefit.
The sensex is at the lower ebb now a days as multi nationals are pulling out from stock market and putting the money in debt market.Perhaps the situation may change after some time.
