Alexander Graham Bell, the inventor of Telephones said :
Concentrate all your thoughts upon the work at hand. The sun’s rays do not burn until brought to a focus.
Quite right indeed. What many people do? They have scattered thoughts; they will not concentrate on one job at a time.
Result? They are not in a position to achieve their goal. This is the case with almost all persons of all classes,types and ages.
There is an old saying:
"One thing at a time,
And that done well
Is a very good rule
As many can tell! "
The lack of concentration fritters the energy and diminishes its powers.
Work is started with a bang but ends in a whimper.
Another proverb is - Slow and steady wins the race. But what normally happens with the majority of persons is they lose interest slowly and discontinue their endeavors.
Remember again - Concentrate all your energies and thoughts on one point or work.
